In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Dia Mirza shared his reflections on the issue, expressing his support for the return of Fawad Khan to Bollywood. She stressed that art should not be associated with hatred and has expressed its desire to see more collaborations with Pakistani artists in the future.
Dia said: “This is a political question. If the circumstances to seek a ban on artists were completely … I have always believed that art is and should always be the medium of peace and harmony. We should never allow art and sport to be tangled or mixed with hatred. It is just that many more opportunities for other collaborations.

In the meantime, Fawad Khan previously appeared in three Bollywood films: Khoobsurat (2014), Kapoor and son (2016), and Ae dil hai mushkil (2016). Each of these films has received significant attention, largely due to the generalized popularity of Fawad among Indian audiences.
