The Master Deenanath MANGESHKAR Awards celebrated this year a diverse constellation of remarkable individuals. Sunil Shetty and Shraddha Kapoor were congratulated for their impactful contribution to the Indian cinema, bringing both a commercial success and a sincere narration on the screen. Sonali Kulkarni was honored for his distinguished work which has transparent the worlds of theater and cinema in a transparent way, reflecting emotional depth and cultural wealth. The highest distinction of the evening, LATA Deenanath MANGESHKAR PURASKAR, was conferred on Padma Vibhushan Kumar Mangalam Birla, president of the Aditya Birla group, for its visionary leadership and its immense contribution to the history of India growth.
Speaking before the ceremony, pt. Hrideynath MANGESHKAR shared: “Each year, we honor the people who embody the spirit of dedication, excellence and service that the master deenanathji lived. This celebration is not only a tribute to the past, but a torch spent in the present and in the future. ”
