‘What We Live For’: Jules Kounde After Winning Barcelona Copa Del Rey Final

Barcelona Copa Del Rey’s final hero, Jules Kounde praised his match winner as the best in his career and said he was proud of his team after defeating his rivals Real Madrid on Saturday. The French defender Kounde struck nearby to settle a wild classico in favor of Barcelona, the Catalans triumphant 3-2 in Seville. “I just went to run in all directions (after marked), to join fans and my teammates, that’s why we live, that’s why we love football, it brings this kind of emotions,” Kounde told Barca One.

“I feel very happy, proud of the team, we have still shown character, we have shown the team that we are,” he continued.
“That even in adversity, we can still fight, you can see that the whole team is really committed … Everyone is fighting.”
Barcelona hopes to win a quadruple potential this season, after winning the Spanish Super Cup in January, with the Liga and the Champions League still at stake.
“Right now, we have done important things, we have recovered the joy for Barcelona fans, I don’t think it could be questioned,” said President Joan Laporta.
“It’s a day to be extremely proud … I’m really happy, really proud of the team we have, the club we have.”
