Trent Alexander-Arnold approaches a move to Real Madrid when his Liverpool contract expires at the end of the season, according to information on Tuesday. The defender has long been linked to a move to the Bernabeu during a free transfer and talks between the 26 -year -old giants and the Spanish giants who are progressing. The English international, who has gone through the ranks of young people in Liverpool and has been at the Premier League club for more than two decades, has been able to discuss terms with foreign clubs since January.
Alexander-Arnold made his debut in Liverpool at the age of 18 in 2016.
The rear right won the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Club World Cup with its childhood club and is on the right track to add a second league crown this season, with the Arne Slot team currently at 12 points at the top of the table.
Alexander-Arnold is one of the three main Liverpool players outside the contract at the end of the season, with the future of Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk always unclear.
Alexander-Arnold is currently out of service with an ankle injury and missed Liverpool’s defeat against Newcastle in the League Cup final earlier this month.
Liverpool refused to comment on the reports.
