The CSK, on the other hand, will be eliminated from the tournament with a defeat in the night. The local team currently persists at the bottom of the point table having won only two of their nine campaign games.
The Punjab Kings won the draw and chose to appear against Chennai Super Kings in match 49 of the Indian Premier (IPL) 2025 at the Ma Chidambaram stadium. Prabhsimran Singh and Glenn Maxwell give way to Harpreet Brar and Suryansh Shedge for the kings of Punjab. Chennai Super Kings plays with the same XI.
After their confrontation against Kolkata Knight Riders was washed, Punjab hopes to obtain a victory in the hope of staying alive in the race for the first four.
The captain of the Kings of Punjab, Shreyas Iyer, said: “We are going to play first. We will focus on our process. Our preparations have been intact.
