Recently, Kohli recalled how much Mark Boucher, a former South African goalkeeper, had an impact on him during his first years in the Indian Premier (IPL).
The main RUN-detained RCB in the history of the IPL spoke in the upcoming episode of the RCB podcast, a trailer of which was published on the official X handle of the team.
Speaking about his conversations with Boucher, whom he admitted to having called him in golf games, Virat said: “All the players I played at the start, Boucher had the biggest impact on me. Mix for yourself.
Boucher played for the RCB from 2008 to 2000, when Virat slowly found his feet in international cricket and had not played test cricket for India. In 27 matches, Boucher made 388 points at an average of 29.85, with half a century.
Virat also opened his loyalty to RCB, a franchise with which he has remained since the start of his IPL career, saying that the “relationship and mutual respect” that he has with the franchise is more precious.
“The love I have received from fans, I don’t think any silverware or no trophy can approach this,” he added.
