Atletico Madrid was held at a dull print of 0-0 at relegation by fighting the Alaves on Saturday at La Liga. Diego Simeone’s team has little to play in the last weeks of the season, sitting third with the qualification of the practically assured champions League and the leaders of Barcelona to nine points in front of them. Alaves, however, temporarily moved 16th, three points away from the relegation zone with an important point against their illustrious visitors. Julian Alvarez was sent at the mere time to run impulses in the first half when he connected High on the leg of the Argentin Facundo Braces compatriot, but the referee downgraded his red card to yellow after a Var review.
Simeone removed his son Giuliano and Antoine Griezmann when he was looking for more energy, bringing Samuel Lino and the Super-Subdonére Alexander Sorloth.
Antonio Sivera saved a long -range effort from Lino, Atletico’s first shot on the target, with about 20 minutes to play, because what had been a soporific battle broke late in life.
Jan Oblak made a superb low stop to thwart Kike Garcia at close range while the hosts of Eduardo Caudet have almost found a path.
Sivera has climbed an effort as Clement Lenglet and Angel Correa could not convert to the end of a fast counterattack while Atletico threatened but could not find a winner.
