Bayern Munich Crowned Bundesliga Champions after Bayer Leverkusen Held For 2-2 Draw

Bayern Munich is Champions of Bundesliga 2024/25, recovering the title of Bayer Leverkusen of Xabi Alonso with two games to lose. After being held in a 3-3 dramatic draw against RB Leipzig on Saturday, the Bavarians sealed the agreement when Leverkusen, second place, failed to take over from Freiburg in what was an essential match for the Werkself. After spending 2-0 to just a few minutes after the second half, Leverkusen scored two late goals to settle for a draw. All this means that Bayern now has an unassailable advance at the top of the table with two games to do. The title marks their 33rd record extended by the Bundesliga era.
Bayern endured its first season without trophy since 2011 last quarter, finishing third in the Bundesliga behind the new Leverkusen champions and the surprise finalists VFB Stuttgart.
However, they quickly reaffirmed their domestic domination under the new head coach Vincent Kompany in 2024/25. The Bavarians took place first place since match 3, while marking 23 victories of 32 games – losing only twice – and marking a summit of 93 goals.
In addition to being a first season title for Kompany, the 2024/25 Meischale represents a first piece of major career silverware for the captain of England Harry Kane.
It is also the 13th expanse of Thomas Müller 13th – and probably – the last German high flight crown as a player. Bayern legend, which recently made its 500th appearance in the Bundesliga, will end its 25 -year -old association with his childhood club after the FIFA club World Cup this summer.
Bayern faces Borussia Mönchengladbach on day 33, in his first game as newly crowned champions and last home game of the 2024/25 season. They concluded the League campaign in Hoffenheim on May 17, while they will be officially presented with the title.
