Barcelona ‘Will Be Back’ After Painful Champions League Exit To Inter Milan, Says Hansi Flick

Hansi Flick said his Barcelona players would bounce for their dramatic defeat in the Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan, an equality that finished 7-6 on the total for the Italians after two epic games. Barça instructed a quadruple in the first Flick season as a coach, but will have to take over the best club competition in Europe after a defeat that was difficult to digest. “I am proud of my team, I am proud of your team, we have given everything, and sometimes it’s like that,” Flick told journalists.
“We have to accept it and start again next season. To win the Champions League, this is one of our goals … We will be back next season.”
Barça must now reproduce to face Real Madrid on Sunday, when they will try to extend their four -point lead on their arc rivals at the top of the liga.
Flick has already won the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa Del Rey and is always preferred to complete a domestic triplet.
“And of course, La Liga will also be a difficult match on Sunday, but we also give everything,” added Flick.
“When they (the players) look in the mirror when they arrive at home three or four o’clock in the night, or in the morning, I think they can be very proud.”
