Hum Tum to re-release on May 16 ahead of its 21st anniversary; Dhadkan to arrive a week later : Bollywood News
Bollywood fans, prepare to relive the magic of two emblematic films like Buzzing And Dhadkan are planned for a theatrical reissue this month! Beloved romantic comedy BuzzingWith Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, will return to the cinemas on May 16, 2025, followed by the romantic drama emotionally charged DhadkanWith Suniel Shetty, Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar, May 23, 2025.

BuzzingDirected by Kunal Kohli and produced by Yash Raj Films, redefined the Rom-Com genre when it was released on May 28, 2004. The film follows the evolution relationship between Karan (Saif Ali Khan) and Rhea (Rani Mukerji) through fortuitous encounters, spiritual jokes and sincere moments. His infectious chemistry, his memorable soundtrack by Jatin-Lalit and the words of Prasoon Joshi, including successes like ‘Ladki Kyon ‘ And the title song, made a cultural touch stone. The awarded performance of the national film of Saif Ali Khan and the representation of Rani Mukerji of Rani Mukerji of Fai Fifier Independent Rhea cemented their status of “IT” Jodi in the early 2000s. Made interesting, the reissue will occur two weeks before its 21st birthday.
In the meantime, DhadkanReleased in 2000, remains the cornerstone of the romantic dramatic genre of Bollywood. Directed by Dharmesh Darshan and produced by Ratan Jain, the film tells Anjali’s poignant tale (Shilpa Shetty), torn between his love for Dev (Suniel Shetty) and his marriage to Ram (Akshay Kumar). The emotional depth of the film, coupled with its graphic music by Nadeem-Shravan, including classics like ‘Dil ne yeh kaha hai dil‘ And ‘Tum dil ki dhadkan mein“Has touched an agreement with the public. In case you do not know, Dhadkan will be 25 years old this year in August.
