Chennai Super Kings recorded a surprising two -countered victory against Kolkata Knight Riders in their 2025 IPL match on Wednesday at the Eden Gardens. Asked to play first, CSK limited the KKR to 179/6 in 20 Overs with Spinner Noor Ahmad Scaling four counters. Later, CSK lost a few counters in the middle, but the Skipper MS Dhoni and Shivam Dube partnership helped him seal a consolidatory victory because they are already out of the competition in the playoffs. On the other hand, this defeat turned out to be very expensive for KKR because their chances of qualification are almost finished.
During the usual handshake after the match, Ms Dhoni stole the show with his sweet gesture towards the KKR Chetan Sakariya rhythm. While the players were busy shaking hands, Dhoni realized that he had accidentally jumped Sakariya in turn.
To invent, Dhoni was turned over and shook his hand with the young stimulator and also gave him a tape on his back. This gesture of Dhoni left Sakariya surprised by recognizing the CSK skipper with a big smile.

Speaking of the match, CSK needed 8 points to win in the final when Dhoni turned on his vintage mode and hammered a huge maximum on the deep counter on the full delivery of André Russell.
On the next ball, Dhoni refused to take only one but took one on the third delivery, bringing Anshul Kamboj on strike.
Faced with his first delivery of the match, Kamboj was under a lot of pressure but he guided well by Dhoni and he without fear the ball through the line line for a four while CSK won the match by two counters.
“This is only the third match we have given. It is good to be on the winning side. It has not disappeared. What is important is to be practical. Identify what was wrong. We have 25 players who can fill out and I focus on this. We wanted answers for next year, which the striker can compete in the place where and what quail may have spoken to that of the conditions,” post-match.
