The current edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) had to be suspended due to the growing tensions between India and Pakistan. After match n ° 58 between the kings of Punjab and the capitals of Delhi was suddenly canceled in Dharamsala, the BCCI published a statement concerning the suspension of the one week. Before the suspension, the teams fought for a position in the playoffs and the battle becoming more intense in each passing match. Lucknow Super Giants, who only won five victories after 11 games, is one of those teams that are almost out of the playoff race.

Commenting on the LSG situation, former coach of India Sanjay Bangar criticized their skipper Rishabh Pant and said that he had not yet found a rhythm in white ball cricket.

Pant was bought by LSG at a record price of RS 27 crores, but miserably did not meet expectations. After 11 games, Pant scored only 128 points.

“We must recognize that he has not yet fully understood the white ball game – the two formats, the cricket at 50 against as well as the T20 cricket. A fabulous test of test match, do not be mistaken, but here in this special season, what I noticed is that he released several times by looking for shots behind the counter,” said Bangar on Star Sports.

“Now, you remove the best Rishabh rounds-where did he try to mark the races? Drive through blankets, go down the track and try to hit the screen of the victory or review Midwicket, Batch. Ground,” he added.

Before the suspension, the latest LSG defeat came against the kings of Punjab where they lost 37 points in Dharamsala. During the current season, Pant will certainly seek to improve and bounce back in the remaining matches.
