The versatile of Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, won the male player of the CPI month for April 2025 after organizing solid versatile performance in the home test series against Zimbabwe. He beat the blessing of Zimbabwe Muzarabani and Ben Sears of New Zealand to win the monthly prize. Mehidy also only becomes the third Bangladesh player to win the award and the first to do so in more than two years – Shakib Al Hasan was the last Bangladesh player to win the award in March 2023, while Mushfiqur Rahim is the other to have been the victim of the honor.

After choosing ten counters during the defeat of the opening test match in Sylhet (5-52 and 5-50), Mehidy then struck 104 in the second match at Chattogram-his second century of test-before winning five other semicircles to make sure that the honors were shared. He also became the game player at Bangladesh by winning the cattogram test.
