Big IPL 2025 Controversy? Delhi Capitals Sign Mustafizur Rahman But BCB Says “Not Received Any…”




The signing of Delhi Capitals (DC) of Bangladesh Fast Bowler Mustafizur Rahman for the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 became doubtful after the CEO of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Nizamuddin Chowdhury, said that Mustafizur was supposed to go to the United Arab Emirates Espncricinfo report. On Wednesday, DC announced Mustafizur to replace the Australian opener Jake Fraser-McGurk, who will not be available for the rest IPL 2025. Bangladesh should visit the United Arab Emirates later this month for an international T20 series against water.

“Mustafizur is supposed to go with the team to the United Arab Emirates according to the calendar. We have not received any communication from IPL officials. I also did not receive official communication from Mustafizur,” said Nizamuddin Chowdhury, quoted by Espncricinfo.
