While Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) looks at a direct road to the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the reinforcements arrived at the right time. In a massive boost of their already prosperous campaign, the keys abroad Tim David and Romario Shepherd joined the team in Bengaluru before their renowned confrontation against the reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) this Saturday. David, who was at the heart of the fireworks of the late order of RCB this season, returns to strengthen an intermediate order which has shown coherent promise. Its presence deepens the striker. Besides him, the return of the Antilles Allrounder Romario Shepherd not only added muscles with the bats, but also crucial oversholes with the ball, although the questions linger on his availability for the whole section.
Shepherd’s situation is delicate. Having produced one of the fastest 1950s in the history of the IPL – a 14 -ball of 14 -bullets against the super Kings of Chennai earlier in the tournament – the 30 -year -old was now called for the ODI teams of the Antilles against the two Ireland (May 21-25) and England (from May 29), which overlaps with the IPL Playoffs.

Meanwhile, the power trio of England – Jacob Bethell, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt – also landed in Bengaluru. Of the three, salt is the most important return. However, the passage of Jacob Bethell will be brief. This means that he will miss the latest confrontation of the RCB League against Lucknow’s Super Giants on May 27 in Lucknow.
Reinforcements abroad of RCB are appropriate, in particular with two key quirks – Josh Hazlewood and Lungi Ngidi – always unavailable. Hazlewood recovers a shoulder minor and remains under the supervision of the Australia cricket medical staff. Although his injury is not considered serious, the RCB must still receive a final authorization.
He has already been appointed to the Australian team for the final of the world test championship from June 11 at Lord, pointing that his long -term physical form is intact.
Ngidi, who replaced Hazlewood in the XI against CSK on May 3, has since been appointed in WTC Squad in South Africa, which further complicates its availability for the final stages of IPL.
