The filmmaker based in Kolkata, Indira Dhar, is a self -taught artist and single -parent who has entered cinema without industrial support or mentoring. His first film, Putturalwas a deeply personal and self -funded project which presented its skills of determination and narration. This year, Puttural was among the few Indian films in the running of the Oscars, alongside Everything we imagine as light And Girls will be girlsConsidered in the best image and the best categories of original songs.
Now Indira enters the world of Bollywood with a new convincing project. With Divya Dutta, who was recently seen in successful success ChhaavaAnd Neeraj Kabi, a famous actor, theater director and acting coach, the film promises a captivating story and powerful performance.
Speaking of her film, Indira shared: “I am delighted to make my debut in Bollywood with this film, with the incredible Divya Dutta and Neeraj Kabi. We are in the last stages of the realization of this project, which is a biopic centered on a family of the Indian army, and we are still locking a title for the film.
