156.7 Kmph Pacer Mayank Yadav’s Injury Sparks Controversy: “Swelling Ignored, Ticked Boxes…”

Lucknow Super Giants Pace Sensation Mayank Yadav was excluded from the 2025 IPL after taking another injury. Mayank, who took the spotlight after its record delivery of 156.7 km / h during the IPL 2024, missed the first half of the new season due to an injury. He played 2 games for Lucknow’s Super Giants after his return but was excluded once again. According to a report by Times of India, an official accused the LSG of ignoring his “swelling of the back” and of precipitating it after the initial injury.
The official continued by saying that the Center of Excellence (COE) and the franchise had not followed the procedure due during the manipulation of the Pacer injury and were only “check boxes” in his case.
