The long -awaited folk thriller VVAN: Force of the ForrestWith Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, should officially arrive in theaters on May 15, 2026. A unique collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures and Viral Fever (TVF), the film marks the very first Telefilms and TVF appear.

Directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, Vvan Explore the rich tapestry of Indian folklore while offering a visually striking and emotionally intense cinematographic experience. Located in the mystical hearts of Central India, the film is loose a story woven with ancient legends, hidden temples and the mystique of a wild forest which contains secrets awaiting being determined.
History follows an enigmatic journey where myth and reality collide, plunging the public into a story that celebrates the forgotten wisdom of the earth. It is said that filmmakers have done a lot of trouble to ensure authenticity, drawing in depth in real forest locations to capture the raw beauty and the strange atmosphere of the region, in order to give life to a folk legend like never before.
VVAN: Force of the Forrest has already stung the curiosity of fans with the release of two characters’ posters earlier this year. With Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in avatars never seen, the posters alluded to the obsessive tone of the film and the characters in layers with the visuals carrying an aesthetic imbued with folklore and mysticism.
Speaking of the film earlier, producer Ekta Kapoor noted that Vvan Combs “great narration with an emotionally rooted drama”, while the involvement of TVF brings a new narrative voice to the space of Thriller Folklore.
With Sidharth and Tamannaah leading the casting, a captivating story rooted in Indian mythology and the creative collaboration of two large production houses, VVAN: Force of the Forrest Prepares to be one of the most ambitious and expected theatrical versions of 2026. The countdown of this Thriller myth-Mets-Mystery begins as Vvan Prepares to put the strength of the living forest on the big screen in May.
