Bayern Munich sports director Max Eberl called the winger Michael Olise the “player of the Bundesliga season” after another star for the League champions during the 4-0 Sunday victory in Hoffenheim. The representative of London, in France, marked the opener with a superb free kick with 33 minutes disappeared and installed another for Joshua Kimmich at the start of the second half. Ollise ended the season with 15 assists, more than any other player from the Bundesliga, while Bayern won the League, 13 points before last year’s winners, Bayer Leverkusen.
Eberl brought Olise in Bavaria from Crystal Palace to pre-season.
Bayern paid 53 million euros ($ 60 million) to the winners of the FA CUP 2025 for the olise services.
The recruit of the newly struck Bundesliga year was the only Bayern player to play in each of the club’s league games this season.
The sports director has provided praise for the 23 -year -old, saying: “He played well with the others, assured more responsibilities when Jamal (Musiala) was not there, when Harry (Kane) was not there.
“Alongside coach Vincent Kompany, he is our greatest signature,” said Eberl, calling Olise “Our Foundation for the future”.
In all competitions, Olise scored 17 goals and has placed 21 assists, while winning two penalties converted by Kane.
Bayern veteran, Thomas Mueller, who played his last Bundesliga match for the club on Saturday, said that Olise was not a wonder of a season.
“It’s impressive to see how much he does what he does, repeating his performances, especially when you consider that it is his first season in a big club,” said Mueller.
Winner of the silver medal with France at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Olise will queue for the senior team in the semi-finals of the League of Nations against Spain in June.
