Punjab Kings (PBKS) strikers obtained a unique feat in their Indian Premier League match (IPL) against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday, while their intermediate order scored the most points by any team in a single round of the history of the competition. PBKS obtained this feat because after collapsing at 34/3 after their decision to beat first, the intermediate PBKS strikers delivered numerous fireworks to go to their team after the 200 -point brand. A 67 -point partnership between the skipper Shreyas Iyer (30 balls in 25, with five four) and Nehal Wadhera passed the team after a brand of 100 points.
Later, a stand of 58 points between Wadhera, which made 70 in just 37 balls, with five four and five six and Shashank Singh pushed them beyond the 150-point brand.
In the last five Overs, Shashank (59 * in 30 balls, with five four and three six) and Azmatullah Omarzai (21 * in nine balls, with three four and one six) made a meal from RR Pace, bringing the team to 219/5 in their 20 Overs.
Tushar Deshpande (2/37) was the choice of quisors for RR.
With this, the 180 races marked together, the average order surpassed the total of 174 points scored by the Mumbai Indians (Mi) of medium order (Ishan Kishan 99, Hardya 15 and Kieron Pollard 60 *) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2020 in Dubai.
In response, RR was limited to 209/7 despite the half-century of Dhruv Jurel.
