Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, Ar Rahman, Silambarasan Tr, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami and Ashok Selvan attended the press conference of their long -awaited film Pan India, Thug lifeto a multiplex in Mumbai. Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan spoke of each other and their long friendship. The film is significant while heavy goods vehicles come together after 37 years. Their latest film was Nayakan (1987).

Mani Ratnam revealed: “When he planned Sadma (1983) in Tamil (Moondram Pirai; 1982) and when he heard the narration, he promulgated this scene (for us). This is the kind of person he was and I was lucky to have been able to interact with him (before I start making films). I knew there was someone who made a big way to get us all. And that’s what he did! »»
When he was asked for his first impression of Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan replied: “The first impression is that I know him as an Imi living in the same region. I did not even know that it belonged to a family of films. I liked the way he spoke. We have become friends. We were a group of friends and we only talked about cinema and no chatter!
He added: “When we turned to Nayakan In Colaba in Mumbai, Ramesh Sippy Saab was running in Film City. We also had to film a few shots in Film City. Therefore, we all went to see the shooting of Mr. Ramesh Sippy. The qualification that brought us here (in films) is that we are all moviegoers. We will go to any set to look at anyone working, especially those that we consider talented. »»
The term “pan-Indian” has experienced a lot of meaning, even more after Baahubali. But it was Kamal Haasan who crossed the South and made a mark on the Hindi language markets.
