Captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Rishabh Pant, finally had a taste for victory when his franchise beat the high -flying Gujarat Titans in the match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Thursday. The defeat had the Hopes of the Titans to obtain a place in the top two, which would have given the franchise two chances of going to the final. Although this is not anything but for GT with a place in the qualifier 1, everything is not in the hands on the side led by Shubman Gill.
Naturally, frustrated by the defeat of his team against Lucknow, a team that is not even in the playoffs, Gill apparently ignored what his counterpart had to say during the usual handshake between the two teams. Here is the video:

Gill and Pant are both pillars of the Indian national team. In fact, the two are presented to become the next captain and vice-captain of India in the test format, after Rohit Sharma’s retirement from red ball cricket. But, the post-match video made the fans speak.

After the match against LSG, the skipper GT said that his team had ended up giving an additional 20-30 points, which cost them the match.
“We gave 15-20 additional points. We wanted to stop them around 210. Huge difference between 210 and 230.
