IPL 2025: Ex-India Star Picks RCB Or PBKS To Lift Maiden Title

The former captain of India and chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar supported the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) or the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to raise their first title of the Indian Premier (IPL) during the 2025 in progress. RCB and PBKS qualified for the playoffs and are in the running for the first two places on the table table, with two games that each remained in the league stadium. Currently, the RCB is placed in second place and will then face the super giants of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow on Friday and May 27, respectively, in Lucknow.
On the other hand, the PBKs led by Shreyas Iyer qualified for the playoffs for the first time in 11 years. They are placed in third place with two games to play against the Capitals of Delhi and the Indians of Mumbai on Saturday and May 26, respectively, in Jaipur.
“RCB and Punjab have been trying to take up the title for many years. I hope that one of these teams wins the IPL this time – it would be great for the team, the franchise and the owners,” replied Vengsarkar in Ians when asked who would win the 2025.
Captain of the RCB, Rajat Patidar, attacked the team’s bowling attack for their successful IPL 2025 campaign so far and has supported them to guide the franchise to their long -awaited IPL title.
“In the T20 games, having good experienced tellers who understand how to play in specific situations help a lot. Your bowling group can earn you games – and even the title. I think this year, we have prepared and chose players according to what we needed in specific areas. It worked well on the Jiostar.
Patidar also praised the team’s environment. “The atmosphere and the environment in the locker room are very good. We have major team liaison activities and we work well together. Even beyond the XI, the rest of the team takes the initiative, communicates openly and has fun. It is a positive atmosphere,” he said.
