BCCI Takes Action Against Rajat Patidar, Pat Cummins Over ‘IPL Code Of Conduct’ Breach




The Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper, Rajat Patidar and the Sunrisers, Captain Hyderabad, Pat Cummins, was sentenced to a fine for the slowdown in the spleen of their respective teams during their Indian Premier League match. While Cummins was sentenced to a fine of RS 12 Lakh because it was the first offense of the season of his team as part of the IPL code of conduct, Patidar accosted RS 24 Lakh as a member of the XI playing the second RCB offender. “As was the second offense of the season of his team as part of the IPL code of conduct concerning minimum offenses on the rate, Patidar was sentenced to a fine of 24 lakhs,” the IPL said in a statement.

“The rest of the members of the Playing XI, including the impact player, was each sentenced to an individual fine of 6 Lakh rupees or 25% of their respective match costs, according to the least.”

The IPL Declaration also added: “As was the first offense of the season of its team under article 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct, which concerns excessive minimum offenses, Cummins was sentenced to a fine of RS 12 Lakh.”

Already assured of a place in playoffs, RCB has undergone a 42 -point defeat against SRH.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have wasted a gold chance to finish in the first two of the IPL dots table, descending to Ishan Kishan Fuelled Sunrisers Hyderabad by 42 points on Friday.
