Following serious allegations of emotional violence and manipulation against the director of photography Pratik Shah by filmmaker Abhinav Singh, Dharma Productions published an official declaration affirming his zero tolerance policy towards inappropriate conduct on his sets.

Controversy began when Abhinav Singh, known for his work in short films and advertisements, went to Instagram to detail the experiences involving a “predator” within the industry. While initially retaining the identity of the individual, Singh then appointed Pratik Shah, better known for his work on Confronted with the house and jubilee. He also revealed that nearly 20 women were walking around him accounts of the alleged behavior of Shah.

In response to the online growing speech, Dharma Productions, under the banner of which Confronted with the house was produced, clarified the Shah association with the project and underlined its position on labor safety. The official declaration is read as follows: “At Dharma Productions, we have a zero tolerance policy against inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment towards anyone working with us in any title, and we are very seriously dealing with cases of sexual harassment.”

The press release also said: “Mr. Pratik Shah was a freelancer on the project Confronted with the house And worked there for a limited period. His commitment with us was completed. During this limited period, our internal committee for Posh received no complaints against him from any distribution or crew on our film Confronted with the house. “”

The presence on Pratik Shah’s social networks has since become dark, its Instagram account being deleted shortly after Singh has publicly appointed it. Singh continued to highlight the so -called silent abuse suffered by women in the film industry, declaring that his reception box has been flooded with testimonies since his initial post on Thursday morning.
