Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par cleared by CBFC, to release in theatres on June 20 : Bollywood News
Bollywood Hungama was the first to report on Saturday June 14 that the Aamir Khan censorship process Sitaare Zameen by was blocked because the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) requested a few cuts. Aamir and the director of the film, RS Prasanna, did not agree with the same.

But we now learn that the film has now been deleted by the CBFC, according to an update provided by the manufacturers. However, it is not mentioned how the two parties reached consensus. But the good news for Aamir fans is that the film is released in theaters on its date scheduled for June 20.
Apart from Aamir and Genelia Deshmukh, Sitaare Zameen by Also put 10 new arrivals: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.
Made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen by Stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the main roles. The lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The script is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka as producers. Made by RS Prasanna, the film will be released in theaters only on June 20, 2025.
