Another film under surveillance is Sardaar Ji 3With Diljit Dosanjh. Speculations around the cast of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the project was confirmed when the trailer dropped on June 23. In the same announcement, the manufacturers said that the film would be released exclusively abroad.
However, the move sparked a generalized reaction online. Several Internet users have criticized Diljit and the producers for having thrown a Pakistani actress in the midst of increased tensions between the two nations, in particular after the conviction by Hania Aamir of the counter-operation of India, the Sindoor operation. Now, the Federation of Cine Employees of Western India (FWICE) has called for a complete ban on all the upcoming projects of Diljit Dosanjh.
The president of Fwice, BN Tiwari, told Hindustan Times: “By working with a Pakistani actor, Diljit harmed the Indian feelings. He missed the emotions of the nation and insulted the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. His preference for Pakistani talent on Indian artists raises serious questions about his loyalty and priorities.”
He added: “We are aware that the film will not be released in India. But if they plan to do so in the future, we will oppose and call a ban. For the moment, the exit abroad stands. Sardaar Ji 3 are also included in this ban. “”
Sardaar Ji 3 Includes Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, Manav Vij and others in key roles. The film is planned for an outing abroad on June 27.
