PV Sindhu Breaks Silence On Badminton Future, Reveals “Passion For The Sport…”

On Tuesday, the famous medalist of the Olympic Games of India, the PV Sindhu, emphasized the hard work and quickly passing disappointments for athletes, while adding that it is always the hunger to excel at the highest level. Sindhu said that even if there are many days of disappointment and fatigue, an athlete should not lose discipline because you never know when he clicks on the field for them. “You must have this hope that you should stay there and you should continue to do it every day and it will be released one day,” said Sindhu during the Nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum here on Tuesday.

“People might say that you have everything, what else do you need? But I think that passion for sport and I always have this hunger that yes, I can do much better.” “These victories give me a lot of confidence and stimulation to go to the next level, which is why I say that every day is a new day and every day is a process. Even if there are these bad days, it is important that you let go and review even stronger,” she added.

Sindhu said that dealing with the rigors of training, disappointment and success is a continuous process and that an athlete must be held.

“It’s a process. It’s every day, day after day, it’s a process. Many people might think that when you succeed, everyone is happy, they just see the result.

“But (only) you know what is going behind (it’s) even more difficult, because there are times when you are really tired, you cannot go for training sessions. Sometimes you have good days, sometimes you have bad days when nothing works.

“Each day is a new learning. Sometimes (even) in training sessions, you might not do well, but (then) you opt for a tournament, you give the best and you are there as a champion,” added Sindhu, who recently missed the Asian Badminton championship due to an injury.

“I want people to understand that it’s not just a few months or a year of hard work, it takes years and years of hard work to come to a level.”
