Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir in War 2: Trailer teases high-octane clash with Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani : Bollywood News
The long-awaited trailer for War 2The sixth episode of Yash Raj Films’ Espionage Universe, has finally been released. By falling back at 2 minutes and 39 seconds, the trailer marks the return of Hrithik Roshan like Kabir – this time in a more mean and more enigmatic avatar.

Sharing the trailer, Hrithik Roshan went on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “It will not be easy to take sides in this war.” Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 Stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. Ntr and Kiara Advani in the main roles, and introduces a conflict in layers without good or bad. Visuals refer to a confrontation of ideologies, loyalty and strategies – with Kabir taken at the heart of all this.
The trailer shows Hrithik sailing through themes of patriotism and romance while facing Jr Ntr and Kiara Advani in a series of elaborate action sequences. Ashutosh Rana also returns as Colonel Luthra, adding another layer of tension to the story.
A special moment pays tribute to War (2019), where Kabir de Hrithik remembers the martyred captain Khalid Rahmani, the character previously described by Tiger Shroff. The exchange of dialogue evokes a feeling of emotional continuity of the first film.

War 2 Also mark the first collaboration on Hrithik’s screen with JR NTR and Kiara Advani. The trailer reveals overviews of its dynamic chemistry with Kiara and an ardent confrontation with the RRR star. It is also the first time that Hrithik has been teaming up with director Ayan Mukerji, known for his work in fantastic cinema and adventure.
Released in 2019, War was the most profitable Indian film of this year, Kabir quickly becoming one of the most emblematic action characters in the YRF universe. War 2 Bases on this heritage, the trailer promising an advanced version of the character. Produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 should arrive in theaters and Imax screens in the world on August 14, 2025 – just before independence.
