Rohit Shetty starts interrogation scenes for Rakesh Maria Biopic with John Abraham: report
A grainy passage from the show to the substance
Unlike the universe of the Shetty brand cop, Rakesh Maria’s biopic adopts a more founded approach. The filmmaker looks this time in the world of real investigations, choosing a procedural drama in his usual stylized action. According to elements, the film still without lessons is based on Maria’s best-selling memories, let me say it now, which tells of his involvement in very publicized cases, in particular the explosions of Mumbai 1993, the attacks of 26/11 and the interrogation of the terrorist Ajmal Kasab.
The actor of Bollywood, John Abraham, who plays the titular role, currently turns a two -week calendar which focuses on the interrogation sequences with high issues. The report cited an initiate saying: “The southern calendar of Mumbai gave the film its authentic urban texture. Now we focus on interior hinged scenes that require controlled light, a precise staging and a crowd of 50 to 100 people per day. ”
These scenes would be crucial to capturing the psychological depth and the strategic brilliance of Maria during her years of investigation.
Action always in store
Although the film can be positioned as a drama focused on the characters, it will not be entirely devoid of action. Sources reveal that five major action sequences have been planned and should be slaughtered towards the end of August.
“Rohit treats this project differently. It is more than a simple action film – it is a deep cinematographic dive in the life of a man who was at the helm for some of the darkest and most difficult moments of Mumbai,” shared an initiate of unity.
Currently targeting an release in 2026, the film should enter post-production shortly after the end of its current calendar.
