Gauahar and Zaid, the son of the music composer Ismail Darbar, met for the first time in 2020 and quickly returned their official relationship. They got engaged in November of the same year and made the knot on December 25, 2020. The couple welcomed their first child, his son Zehaan, in May 2023, after announcing the pregnancy of Gauahar in December 2022. In April 2025, Gauahar revealed that she was expecting their second baby, and now their family of three people reached four.
Shortly after the announcement, several celebrities expressed their wishes to the couple.
