The Supreme Court rejected on Monday a request filed by actress Jacqueline Fernandez as part of the Fraud case of Rs 200 crores linked to Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, refusing to grant her any compensation. The Supreme Court rejects the advocacy of Jacqueline Fernandez in a case of fraud of Rs 200 crores

Jacqueline’s advocacy

In her petition, the actress would have argued that she was the victim of the targeted attack of Sukesh. The advocacy said that the emergency itself admitted that the officials of Tihar prison had given Sukesh access to mobile phones and other electronic devices, which he would have used to deceive not only the complainant but also several members of the film industry, including Fernandez.

Jacqueline also stressed that she witnessed the accusation in the predicate offense and argued that new procedures against her should therefore be canceled.

The High Court of Delhi had however judged previously that the questions on Jacqueline’s intention and the knowledge of the alleged crime can only be determined during the trial. The actress, better known for films like Murder 2 And Cuthas always argued that the accusations are false and that it was not aware of the criminal history of Sukesh.

Ed’s allegations against Jacqueline

According to the emergency, Jacqueline would have received luxury gifts worth approximately Rs 7 crores from Sukesh. The agency maintains that these donations were part of the crime product generated by the fraud of Rs 200 crores.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar is accused of having deceived Shivider Singh and Malvinder Singh, the spouses of former promoters of Ranbaxy, of Rs 200 crores. He is also accused of having designed several high -level individuals in Tihar’s prison.

With the rejection by the Supreme Court of his petition, Jacqueline will now have to face a trial in the money laundering case, where questions of intention and knowledge will be examined in detail.
