A source close to development shared: “Ali Abbas Zafar has worked on a new action-romance film in collaboration with Aditya Chopra. He wanted to return to his narration roots – the mixture of drama and action that has always resonated with the public. After looking SaiyaaraAli was impressed by the emotional depth of Ahaan and the presence on the screen. The idea of launching Ahaan would have come from Aditya Chopra himself. After the massive success of SaiyaaraThere is a natural curiosity on what he will do next. Playing a new face like Ahaan with a high impact story adds an element of surprise for the public, “added the source.
The next film, which has not yet been titled, will present Ahaan Panday in a brand new avatar. It is said that it presents a strong mixture of action, intense romance and drama loaded emotionally – something that Chopra and Zafar are known to deliver. The script was locked and the music sessions have already started. The film should take place on the floors in the first quarter of 2026.
