Anurag Basu’s films are always like a glass of whisky: they take their time to find the right notes. It’s no secret that Anurag Basu’s next project with Kartik Aaryan will no longer release on Diwali or Christmas weekend 2025 due to the delay in filming. But now we have been informed by very reliable sources that Kartik Aaryan is all set to start shooting for the film from November.

A Little Birdie informed Bollywood Hungama, “Kartik and Anurag Basu are coming together for a 25-day milestone of this intense romantic saga starting from November. This includes shooting of new sequences, along with a few re-shoots of already canned moments. The shooting will take place in Mumbai, and the preparation work is in full swing for the same.”

The source also informs us that there are approximately 40 days of filming left for this as-yet-untitled romance, and producers have committed to finishing the film by the end of January. “The last 15 days of this film will be spread between December and January as Kartik has allocated a major part of the dates for the promotion of his New Year release – Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.”

Our reliable source confirmed that the untitled romance will release sometime in the summer of 2026 and the date announcement will be made once filming wraps in January.
