Tajikistani singer and viral sensation Abdu Rozik, known for her visit to Bigg Boss 16, recently faced a wave of speculation after reports said he was arrested at Dubai International Airport. However, the Rozik management team categorically denied these claims, confirming that the singer was simply briefly detained by the local authorities and released later.
Abdu Rozik is held in Dubai; led to rumors of arrest
In an official declaration, the S-Line project, the managing company Abdu Rozik, said that the situation was being destroyed. They explained that Rozik had not been arrested but that temporarily by Dubai police to bring clarification concerning a certain case. He was released shortly after making his statement.
The team also pointed out that media reports circulating on the incident are in fact incorrect. They expressed a strong disapproval of the distribution of false online stories and said that legal proceedings can be taken against the officials of the false declaration of events. The declaration also confirmed that Rozik would continue to appear provided at a prize ceremony based in Dubai, reaffirming that he does not face any restrictions.
According to an Ani report, Rozik was arrested around 5 a.m. during the weekend, shortly after his arrival in Dubai in Montenegro. The exact nature of the complaint remains unclear and the authorities of Dubai have not yet published an official declaration.
A spokesperson for the Management told Khaleej Times that detention was linked to theft allegations, although they chose not to reveal more details at this stage. They assured fans and the Indian public that additional information will be shared in good time, declaring that the team had “much more to say” concerning the incident.
Abdu Rozik has gotten importance thanks to his music and his charismatic personality, becoming a beloved figure in India after his appearance on Bigg Boss 16. His management remains focused on protecting his reputation and what any disinformation is corrected quickly and legally if necessary.
