After Confrontation Episode, LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka’s Special Gesture For Rishabh Pant

A complete dominant display of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) saw them seal a five -gate victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2025 on Thursday. Shardul Thakur put a transport to four titles on a placid track while the LSG restricted the SRH at 190/9, before chasing the target with 23 balls to lose, gracious of Nicholas Poornan and Mitchell Marsh’s Fiery Half-Centures. The victory was a great relief for the captain of the LSG Rishabh Pant, especially after the overwhelming defeat against the Capitals of Delhi earlier this week.
After the defeat against DC on Monday, the owner of the LSG, Sanjiv Goenka, was seen having an animated conversation with Pant after the match. However, while LSG turned the tables on SRH on Thursday, Goenka seemed to be a relieved man when he was a tight hug. An image of the same incident has become viral on social networks.

Coming to the match, SRH was brought to the stick first by LSG, who had chosen to play first. Shardul restricted the LSG at 15/2, but a partnership of 61 points between Travis Head (47 in 28 balls, with five four and one six) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (32 in 28 balls, with two four) stabilized the sleeves a little. The Cames came from Heinrich Klaanse (26 in 17 balls, with two four and one six), Aniket Varma (36 in 13 balls, with five six) and the skipper Pat Cummins (18 in four balls, with three six), which pushed SRH to 190/9 in their 20 Overs.
During the race race, LSG lost Aiden Markram early, but a stand of 116 points between Nicholas Poornan (70 on 26 balls, with six four and six) and Mitchell Marsh (52 in 31 balls, with seven four and two) and a beautiful cameo at the end of Abdul Samad (22 * in balls with two and two) left. Pat (2/29) was the best bowling player for SRH.
Shardul was named “match player” for his fiery fate.
With this victory, LSG has strengthened its position in the tournament, while SRH is looking to bounce back in their next games as season IPL progresses.
