Kareena Kapoor Khan, Prithviraj Sukumaran begin shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra : Bollywood News
The highly anticipated criminal drama Dayra officially started to shoot today. Directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced jointly by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, the film brings together two of the most convincing interpreters in Indian cinema, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, in roles that promise intensity, depth and intrigue.

Prithviraj Sukumaran looks intense as a police inspector while Kareena Kapoor Khan looks fierce, adding to the captivating appeal of the film.

Co-written by Yash and Sima alongside Meghna, the film deeply plunges into the secular paradox of crime, punishment and justice, anchored by powerful performance of its cast. With a convincing story, a visionary director at the helm and the Creative of Junglee Muscle Pictures and Pen Studios, Dayra should be one of the most anticipated cinematographic experiences of 2026.
