Seville players were forced to spend the night on the club’s training field while angry supporters protest outside on Saturday evening. About 100 furious fans gathered after the team’s 3-2 defeat by Celta Vigo. Police prevented “ultrasounds” from accessing the training center, while they were trying to penetrate. The bus transporting players and support staff was bombed with projectiles on their return to the training field, while the players were insulted by the fans. “Seville will report to the competent authorities the unusual violent attacks against its employees, its players, its technical staff and its management when they arrive in the training complex,” the club said in a statement.
“These attacks forced the first Seville team to spend the night in the facilities.”
