Prominent music composer Rajesh Roshan is currently recovering in a Mumbai hospital after undergoing a major heart surgery. Bollywood Hungama has learned exclusively that the Koï Mil Gaya (2003), the music director had undergone a routine check-up last weekend, during which doctors discovered blockages in his heart. They advised him to have open heart surgery.

We have further learned that Rajesh Roshan was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Center and underwent surgery on Monday, October 6. The operation was successful and he is currently under observation. Additionally, he is recovering well and is expected to be released soon.
A source said Bollywood Hungama“Rajesh Roshan has been very well taken care of by the doctors and hospital staff. His loving family has also remained strong by his side throughout. The Roshan family is now looking forward to his discharge and celebrating Diwali with him.”
In July this year, Rajesh Roshan’s brother, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, also underwent a medical procedure after a routine check-up revealed over 75% blockage of the carotid arteries leading to the brain. He was immediately hospitalized and, after successful treatment, he was discharged a few days later.
