Australia Announces Squad For WTC Final Amid IPL 2025 Extension Drama




Australia appointed their team to face South Africa in the WTC final next month at Lord’s, according to an Australia cricket release. Cameron Green’s return to the test team after back surgery was confirmed, the Spinner Matt Kuhnemann also included, while Australia revealed their team for their WTC defense and its Caribbean visit which followed on Tuesday. The selectors opted for the same team for three tests in the Caribbean with Beautiful Webster kept as a favorite Allrouner after a strong start to test career, while Sam Konstas is back in the mixture after leaving Sri Lanka early to finish the domestic season with NSW.
