Australia appointed their team to face South Africa in the WTC final next month at Lord’s, according to an Australia cricket release. Cameron Green’s return to the test team after back surgery was confirmed, the Spinner Matt Kuhnemann also included, while Australia revealed their team for their WTC defense and its Caribbean visit which followed on Tuesday. Sheffield Shield player from the final, Brendan Doggett, was appointed travel reserve for the team of 15 players, who otherwise presents no major surprise from outside the group who beat Sri Lanka 2-0 and India 3-1 last summer.
The Pat Cummins team seeks to become the first nation to win several WTC finals when it faces South Africa in Lord’s from June 11.
Cummins and Hazlewood overcome injuries that kept them away from the Sri Lanka tour and the Champions Trophy earlier in the year, both returned to action via the Indian Premier League.
Australia won four of its six series to win a place in its second consecutive WTC final. He also attracted 2-2 with England in 2023 Ashes and 1-1 with the Antilles during the summer at home 2023-24.
South Africa exceeded the ranking with eight victories of 12 tests for a percentage of points of 69.44, while Australia was 67.54 with 13 victories on 19 matches.

“It means a lot for the group to reach the final, and they are impatiently awaiting the challenge of South Africa will arise in Lord’s,” added Bailey.
The selectors opted for the same team for three tests in the Caribbean with Beautiful Webster kept as a favorite Allrouner after a strong start to test career, while Sam Konstas is back in the mixture after leaving Sri Lanka early to finish the domestic season with NSW.
