Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna currently shooting the final schedule of Thama in Ooty : Bollywood News
After months of exploration of supernatural themes and an unconventional love story, Thama– A comedy on the theme of vampires with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna – entered his last shooting stage. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film started its filming calendar in Ooty on April 28.

The current shooting calendar, operating until May 25, will cover several critical scenes, including the peak of the film and a more intimate exploration of the romance of the main characters. The production team is currently based near Doddabetta Peak in the Nilgiri forests of Tamil Nadu, where they are also preparing to film the original story of the character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui – a vampire with a dark and mysterious past. Nawazuddin should join the casting in mid-May for these hinged scenes.
A source said at midday: “From April 28, Ayushmann and Rashmika turned their games in the forests of Ooty. They are currently running in and around Doddabetta Peak. In this leg, the director will draw part of the love story between the tracks. After Nawazuddin joined the unit in the third week of May, they will draw the backstoral in the way he became a vampire.
According to reports, take place on two deadlines, Thama Follows the journey of a historian, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, while he plunges into the mythological origins of vampires rooted in Indian folklore. The story moves between the current and the ancient city of Vijayanagar, where an obsessive story of unseat love connects the two eras. It is also reported that the film draws its title of Ashwatthama – the immortal warrior of the Mahabharata– And weaves elements of mythology, folklore, romance and mystery to create a unique cinematographic experience.
With the current shooting calendar which should conclude later this month, there are only two songs to film for Thama. The manufacturers are targeting an outing of the Grand Diwali 2025, aligning the mythological and mystical themes of the film with the holiday season.
