IPL Has Been A Life-Changer For Me: Uncapped Delhi Capitals Star Vipraj Nigam On Debut Season

The versatile of Delhi Capitals, Vipraj Nigam, believes that the current IPL has made a lot of changes in his life, and said that the learning he had obtained by sharing the cloak with the games of the game will certainly help him in his emerging career. Nigam, 20, which was chosen for 50 Lakh of RS per DC, was impressive in IPL with Bat and Ball. Thinking about the experience that changed the life of sharing the locker room with senior players, Nigam said: “There have been a lot of changes in life. With IPL, things are still changing – you are lucky enough to share the field with such great senior players, to learn from the way they do things and to experience their approach closely.

“These are all the new experiences for me, and I will try to apply the same learning in my own game.” Nigam welcomed DC coaches for giving him clarity on his versatile capacity.

“When I was chosen by the Capitals of Delhi, even before that, I had discussions with my coaches and the direction. They always told me that they saw me as a versatile. They had seen my league striker and to the domestic cricket, so the message was clear-when I had to be supposed to play 2-4 Overs, I also had to focus on my striker,” he said to Jishotstar.

“From our training matches itself, this role was well defined. The coaches have always told me to work on both aspects of my game.” The young Barbanki cricket player, Uttar Pradesh, attributed to his childhood trainer for shaping his cricket career.

“I played the UPT20 League. The best party for me was the support I got from my coach. He helped me understand that if you are a bowling player – and if you cannot hit six years or finish the games – you limit your overall growth. Spend time with him really helped me as a player,” said Nigam.

He thinks that the transition to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) was the turn of its evolution as a bowling player.

“When I went to the NCA after playing for my condition, the coaches really helped me grow. I went as a drummer, but I practiced both the striker and the bowling alley.

“As a leg spinner, they told me to start taking my bowling in it seriously. Earlier, I would only put 2-3 overs as part-time, but after having gone to the NCA, this state of mind has changed completely,” concluded Nigam.
