BCCI Clarifies Stand On Rohit Sharma’s Sudden Retirement: “We Do Not Put Any Pressure…”

Rohit Sharma withdrawing from the test cricket was a personal decision and there was no pressure on the BCCI to make this call, said its vice-president Rajeev Shukla on Thursday. He is from our policy that players who make the retirement decision – we do no pressure on them, and we do not suggest anything, or say nothing,” said Shuklaa.
Rohit is a large undisputed white balloon, but he could not reproduce this success in the 67 tests he played. Shukla said his contribution to the five -day match was huge.
“The more we rent it, the less he is. He is a big drummer. The good thing is that he has not yet decided to withdraw from the cricket (only plays the ODI). So we will certainly take advantage of his experience and his talent,” said Shukla.
Rohit who was moving, it remains to be seen who is raised to the test captain in India. Jasprit Bumrah, Kl Rahul and Shubman Gill are among the contenders.
Asked about potential names in the fray, Shukla said that the case is strictly with the selection committee.
“There should not be speculation. The selectors will decide and tell you who is the captain … it is only and purely their call.”
While the world remembers Rohit Sharma’s test career after his retirement, one could easily notice the joyful tops and the painful stockings he had, which will remain in the spirit of the fraternity of cricket and fans forever for what they represent and for what they teach.
The “Hitman” saw everything in the tests. After making noise in the Mumbai domestic circuit for his blows in a longer format, it took six years in Rohit to obtain his test cap in 2013 after his international beginnings in 2007. Even after having obtained the coveted cap, it took the right -wing years to find the consistency and the pace that could justify his immense talent.
An unstoppable beast at home, but extremely incoherent away from her home, is the story of her entire career. While the crowd at home was treated to a special `Hitman ” ‘special, its fans in the other parts of the world, traveling in stadiums with their harshly won money, have often allowed more. Flashes of absolute genius, undeniable technical skills, are surrounded by a myriad of cases where the striker was simply too incoherent and threw his counter.
