BCCI women’s annual contracts – Shafali Verma retained, Shreyanka Patil, Arundhati Reddy among new entrants

The BCCI has awarded 16 contracts in each 17 that they announced previously in April 2023. Contracts for the 2023-24 season were not made public.
Allrounders Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar, who have not played since the T20 World Cup in October of last year, have kept their contenders for Grade C. Vastrakar continues to recover from a long -standing back injury who also forced her to leave WPL 2025, while Rana has not played for the national team since 2023. Yastika Bhatia also retains her fitness in the past year.
Harleen Deol and Pratika Rawal strikers, and Legspinner Priya Mishra are among the notable absent. Harleen returned from a long launch of injuries to break his first international century at the ODI home against the Antilles in January, while Rawal took a good start to an international career.
No woman has scored more in her first six heats than the 444 Rawal runs. Mishra, on the other hand, has appeared in each team since its release from the Odi against New Zealand in October, and was one of the Indian escape players at WPL 2025.
The list, recommended by the women’s selection committee chaired by Neettu David and head coach Amol Muzumdar, is for a period of 12 months from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
India is then ready to play Odi Tri-Series in Sri Lanka, with also South Africa, in April followed by a tour in England in summer as part of their FTP calendar, as the 50-year-old World Cup approaches, they are scheduled for September.
