While producer Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta partners marked the first box by throwing Sunny Deol for Border 2The last one we hear is that they have the rights for the emblematic Melody Sandese Aate Hai of original holders.

Very reliable sources have confirmed that the T series, in a normal adaptation agreement, obtained the rights of Sandese Aate Hai 2.0 for a sum of Rs. 60 Lakhs. “Sandese Aate Hai is more a national melody, and the border will always be incomplete without Sandesse Aate Hai. Bhushan Kumar and his team did everything to obtain the rights of the song, and left no stone not returned to obtain it,” informed a source Bollywood Hungama.
“Bhushan Kumar knew exactly what he was pursuing. He understands the emotional value of Sandee Hai for each Indian. It is not only another track; it is a hymn of national pride.”, Said the source.
Another source close to the production house added: “It is not simply a financial investment. For Bhushan Kumar, it is a question of preserving the heritage and the emotional connection of Border. Expect a contemporary but moving interpretation that will resonate with today’s generation while honoring the original classic. The song will not only play on nostalgia; We plan something very special that will give goosebumps to the public of all ages. Bhushanji’s vision is clear – to do Border 2 unforgettable.”
Border 2 is currently on the floors and should be released on the day of the Republic 2026. The film is directed by Anurag Singh and features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead.
