The filmmaker Nikkhil Advani brings a historical drama that will immerse himself in the stories of Indian freedom fighters Rash Behari Bose and Sachindra Nath Sanyal. The next web series aims to present their important roles in the independence movement. A source close to the project revealed to India today: “Bhuvan Bam represents the Bengali revolutionary rash Bose and has already started to film for the series. To enter the character, he even shaved his mustache. ”

The source has also added: “Meanwhile, Rohit Saraf will be considered Sachira Nath Sanyal, a close partner of Bose. It is interesting to note that he grew up for the role. Pratibha Ranta plays Sanyal’s wife, which he married as a child.”
The team is currently shooting Madh Island, Mumbai, on a specially designed set that reproduces Bengal in the early 1900s. Although the streaming platform has not yet been confirmed, sources indicate that the show could be presented on Sonyliv. Advani previously delivered successful projects for the platform, notably Freedom at Midnight and Rocket Boys.
