South Africa Cricket Team White-Ball Coach Rob Walter Resigns

South African white ball coach Rob Walter resigned from the role, South Cricket Africa said on Tuesday. The CSA said that Walter’s resignation for “personal reasons” will come into force on April 30. Walter was barely two years after a four-year contract which was to end with the Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in 2027. Walter, 49, took the south of the T20 final in the first world cup champion in 1998. Loaded when they reached the semi-finals of the 2023 Circket World Cup in India and the Champions Trophy and 2025 in Pakistan.

But Walter faced criticism for the unequal record in South Africa in a bilateral series outside major tournaments – although he pointed out that many leading players were rarely available for international matches due to their franchise commitments.
