BREAKING: Jr NTR opts out of Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, SS Rajamouli to go ahead with another actor : Bollywood News

Jr. NTR is on a career healing mission. While focusing on his and Prashanth Neel’s Telugu career DragonNTR has gracefully opted out of the proposed Hindi-Telugu biopic on the life of the father of Indian cinema Dadasaheb Phalke.

According to a source close to the development, various factors influenced NTR’s decision. “Firstly, as of now, NTR does not want to play a real-life character, and that too a legend from the past. Secondly, Phalke’s biopic was not to be directed by Rajamouli but by his son Karthik. Thirdly and most importantly, Aamir Khan is doing a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke directed by Rajkumar Hirani. There is no point in making another one of the same kind.”

Recently, rumors were doing the rounds that Aamir had asked Hirani to rewrite Phalke’s biopic. However, Aamir has made it very clear to this author that the project is on schedule.

Rajamouli is also moving ahead with the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic despite NTR’s withdrawal and objections from the bio-subject’s grandson Chandrashekhar Srikrishna Pusalkar.

Rajamouli is looking for another actor to play Dadasheb. The rumors of Prabhas being approached are completely false.
