Historical social drama Phule Faced with certain problems recently when sections of the Brahmane community have raised doubts about their representation in the film. Director Annanth Narayan Mahadevan solved this problem with a conversation with the injured parts. Now the film has encountered another obstacle after a financier has allegedly allegedly a non-payment of contributions.

According to a notice published in ATUL Mohan’s full Cinema magazine on April 5 and 12, 2025 by lawyer Ashok purohit, Mukesh Gupta lent money to film producers. Despite repeated requests, the amount has not been reimbursed. Consequently, GUPTA has placed a privilege (a legal complaint) Phule.
The opinion also indicated that no right of the film – digital, satellite, theatrical or auxiliary – can be sold or transferred without a certificate of non -objection of Mukesh Gupta. According to this opinion, such a transaction carried out without its written consent is not valid and legal action can be taken. He even said that “this opinion is issued to protect the legal and financial interests of our client”.

We want to erase these doubts so that there is no hassle in the viewer. ”
He also said: “When I met the representatives [of the Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Samaj] And told them how we showed that [certain] The Brahmans helped Jyotiba Phule to install 20 schools, they were happy. When Phule opened the Satyashodhak Samaj, these Brahmans were the pillars. I am a faithful Brahmin. Why am I going [malign] My community? We only showed the facts. It is not an agenda film. »»
