CBFC obstacle free from cuts
Earlier this year, Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Dhadak 2 had been in trouble to the central film certification council (CBFC). The film, based on the oppression of castes, was initially stuck because of its sensitive content. It has now been eliminated with a U / A 16+ note, but not without significant modifications.
According to the Hindus, several dialogues have been revised, in particular those which referred to the history and discrimination of caste. Sentences like “3,000 years of backward” and specific insults for castes have been replaced or silent. A scene involving a public urination has been completely removed, while another sequence showing the humiliation of the father of a character was cut. The CBFC has also changed a poem recital and requested a revised warning, now extended to 1 minute and 51 seconds and read aloud during the film.
Execution time and background
